Treatment

Dr. Gavini is a board certified pediatrician practicing in the Metro Detroit area with over 25 years experience in treating enuresis. We accept most insurance including HMOs, PPOs and Commercial Insurances. Unlike some of the other clinics, who charge $1800 – $2800 and lack any qualified and Board certified Physicians, we offer scientifically proven Treatment Methods that work. We use the guidelines established by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Urologic Association. Treatment approaches include DDAVP tablet/nasal spray, Alarm Devices and Behavior Modifications. Since each child responds differently to the various treatments, we offer an individualized treatment program for your child. A combination of bedwetting alarms and DDAVP medication offers the most effective method for achieving nighttime dryness.
DDAVP Nasal Spray
DDAVP is a synthetic form of the Antidiuretic Hormone (ADH). This is the nasal spray form of the medication and is taken once daily before bedtime. This medicine helps the kidneys to produce less urine. For more information click here.

DDAVP Tablets

DDAVP is a synthetic form of the Antidiuretic Hormone (ADH). This is the tablet form of the medication and is taken once daily before bedtime. This medicine helps the kidneys to produce less urine. For more information click here.
Wet-Stop2
Enuresis Alarm

The Palco Labs Wet-Stop2 enuresis alarm teaches nighttime dryness with a buzzer attached to the pajamas near the ear and a moisture sensor attached to the underwear. The Wet-Stop2 sounds an alarm immediately after the child starts urinating, thus teaching the child to stop the flow of urine before the bed becomes wet. This feedback conditions his mind to avoid bedwetting. This may take up to 6 months of time.
